About the Winery
Réva has developed over the last years as a modern, progressive winery with strong focus on sustainability. Producing wines of absolute excellence with great care and focus for every grape variety is the vision of the young team at Réva. Respect to nature is the philosophy behind all the work done in the vineyards, cultivated organically, within a broader unique landscape including forest, hazelnut fields and apiculture. In harmony with the surrounding environment.

Réva’s viticultural panorama embraces all the facets of local Piemonte grapes thanks to very different areas and “terroirs”. Today over 35 hectares of property, of which 23 are vineyards (6 different terroirs). Expression of the Langhe of Barolo and the Alta Langa. Wines with unique identities and connection with their terroirs, supported by the best oenological techniques and equipment. They have defined Réva wines “Neo-classical”: classic through the search of elegance, purity and harmony, yet with a genuine contemporary and holistic attitude.

Description: Réva’s Langhe Bianco DOC Grey is a lively, fresh, mineral white wine from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Sauvignon Gris. It offers on the nose beautiful flint notes combined with hints of passion fruit, citrus and sage. A crisp acidity and lovely persistency make it a very special cuvée to pair and enjoy with Frutti di Mare starters, vitello tonnato, pesto-based dishes and grilled veggies.

Description: Réva’s Dolcetto d’Alba DOC is a young and fresh red wine, presenting intriguing aromas of almond and red cherry, pepper and lavender. A great identity and balance between acidity and tannin, makes it a typical Piemonte red, highly pleasurable to drink and accompany food. Slightly decreasing serving temperature will also make its strength for a high pleasurable experience of this typical Piemonte varietal. Food-match: antipasti, cold-cuts, starters and pasta/risotto.

BARBERA D’ALBA SUPERIORE DOC 2021 - €25
Description: Réva’s Barbera d’Alba Superiore is an elegant and silky red wine with a very characterful and aromatic nose presenting notes of red berries, juicy fruits and vanilla, given the 12-months barrel-ageing. The taste is persistent and round, inviting with flavours of wild blueberries and mature cherries. The palate is full whilst bringing hints of spices, candied-fruit, yet a beautiful freshness and a medium to long finish. Great drinkability. Food-match: a great food companion of cold-cuts charcuterie, roasted red meats, slightly spiced pasta dishes & cheeses. It can be beautifully enjoyed on its own too.

NEBBIOLO D’ALBA DOC 2021 - €26
Description: Réva’s Nebbiolo d’Alba is an elegant, bold, silky red wine from Monforte d’Alba vineyards, on clay and limestone soils. A light in body yet strong character wine, entering with a distinctive nose of figs, cherry jam, peony-rose and pomegranate. Ageing of 12 months in oak barrels gives grippy yet pleasant tannins and hints of tobacco & vanilla. The palate is vibrant and shows notes of dry-yet fruity elements of plums, red orchard apple, tar & tobacco hints for a pleasantly medium-long finish. Food match: mushroom risotto with truffles, rich pasta dishes. Interesting and fun pairings with some Asian and slightly spiced dishes.

Description: Réva’s BAROLO is an elegant and distinctive red wine, with a flamboyant style telling the traditional expressions of the Nebbiolo grape. Spontaneous fermentation on the skins for 35 days, the wine has been aged in oak barrels for 24 months. With a beautiful garnet hue, the nose offers enchanting notes of rose petals, black cherry and red-skinned berries, and a delicate hint of tobacco and velvety vanilla. The palate is exquisite and offers a distinguishing full, deep and juicy structure, with peppery notes of Morello cherry and cloves. This delicious fusion of depth and finesse is enveloped in pleasant and embracing tannins. Food match: ideal companion of truffle preparations, it makes also a perfect combination with rich stews, game and beef recipes. Description: Réva’s BAROLO RAVERA is a complex, powerful yet balanced and elegant red wine, expression of one of the cherished “Crus” of the Barolo area, “Ravera” vineyards (planted in the 60’s). The scent delivers a balsamic character, earthy, floral and spicy notes. Elements of tar & crushed rose petals accompany in the nose, with black and red berries and tobacco. The palate is exquisite with juicy red and black fruits such as ripe cherries which offer pure and appealing aromas. Acidity is lively on the palate, offering a full-bodied and persistent sip, with velvety, dense tannins. Food match: a great match with fresh egg-pasta and white Piemonte truffles, or an earthy rabbit ragù. Excellent also with risotto con Porcini mushrooms. BAROLO ‘CANNUBI’ DOCG 2019 (Cru) - €160
Description: Réva’s BAROLO CANNUBI is a rich, powerful and robust red wines from the “Cannubi” vineyard (the oldest and most prestigious vineyard in the Barolo designation, dating back to 1752). The terroir here allows to craft a Barolo at the height of its denomination. With a vigorous appearance and elegant garnet hue, the scent delivers an opulent balsamic character yet preserving the floral and primary aromas of fleshy black cherry, raspberry jam, vanilla and cinnamon notes. The palate is exquisitely warm, balsamic with earthy undertones, but the rich fruit stands up the 14,5% alcohol, with cassis, plums and violets expressing elegance. The smoky tar and tobacco notes linger behind the fruit, blending harmoniously in an infinite finish. A real elegant force to start dreaming with! Food match: This elegant red will delight you combined with black-truffle & taleggio tagliolini egg-past. BAROLO ‘LAZZARITO’ Cru Ris.DOCG 2017
Description: Réva’s BAROLO LAZZARITO is another of the refined Cru’s of Réva’s vineyards. This area is characterized by calcareous white grounds which gives the typicity of these Barolo’s, majestic and imposing in their structure. An explosive Barolo which finds its identity as a “Riserva”, the quintessence of the level of inspiration in the interpretation of the Langhe ‘terroir’ by the Réva oenologists’ Team. Fermentation is spontaneous in truncated cone-shaped Austrian oak vats for 40 days. It will be bottled in January at the 3rd year, followed afterwards by 30 months ageing in bottles. The appearance is showing with bright red color with garnet highlights. The bouquet is bold and fragrant,delivering fruity aromas of blackberry, plum, cherry and some hints of balsamic mint. The palate is robust and true expression of this remarkable ‘Cru’, with an alluring intensity of pomegranate & balsamic cherry along with a clean and fragrant sage and rosemary notes. Earthy elements of tar and rich plum juice accompany broadly the long finish, making it an opulent and harmonious red wine, classifying for rich meditation moments! Food match: delightful with rich truffles dishes, such as “Tajarin all’uovo” with white truffles, or tagliatelle al taleggio & black truffles.
